Engineered Hardwood Flooring

Engineered hardwood flooring is perfect if you want a real wood floor that is very stable in wider widths, is easy to maintain and can be used in conditions where solid hardwood is not suitable.

Advantages:
  • Has the elegance and beauty of natural wood because it is real wood
  • Its is long-lasting and very comfortable under foot
  • Can sometimes be sanded and refinished one or more times.
  • Less susceptible to temperature, moisture and humidity than solid hardwood
  • Can generally be installed over concrete slabs.

Disadvantages:
  • Can only be refinished one or two times is most cases as compared to solid natural hardwood
  •  Engineered hardwood flooring is still susceptible to scratching just like solid hardwood

  • Anywhere that isn’t susceptible to flooding , excessive moisture or humidity.
  • Can be used over concrete and in basements

  • High moisture areas and areas that can get wet often
